Outsiders see only death in Nhar'Vel. Its people see memory. The Silent Dominion was founded by those who watched whole civilizations vanish and take their wisdom with them, and reached a single conclusion: mortality is history's greatest weakness. Here, death is not an ending — it is preservation.
Among the oldest records of Nhar'Vel are fragments describing the Kharadum Codex, and the Necrolords believe it holds truths erased from history long before the first kingdoms. Recovered, those forgotten truths could finally be restored; claimed by another civilization, they may be twisted forever.
Skeletons remember battles the living forgot; revenants keep oaths that outlived kingdoms; liches guard knowledge no mortal lifetime could hold. On the battlefield, defeat only strengthens the dead — every fallen ally leaves an echo, and every Dirge reminds the enemy that memory itself can be a weapon.
